Preview Houston Chronicle: Classic Annie dishes available from food truck pop-up

Craving classic dishes from the iconic Café Annie? They’re available Thursday from a food truck pop-up at The Annie Café & Bar, 1800 Post Oak.

Executive chef Robert Del Grande is hosting the pop-up on April 9 from 4 to 8 p.m., offering dishes such as Gulf crab meat tostadas, bacon-wrapped quail breast, tortilla soup, coffee-crusted filet mignon with jalapeno cheese grits, and frozen margaritas made with Ocho Blanco Tequila. Service will be from The Annie’s food truck, which will be parked in front of the restaurant (enter parking lot on Post Oak by La Table then pull out on Ambassador Way for contact-fee pickup).
